A Few Years ago...
Hello, my name is Patrick. I live and work in Southern California in a town called Long Beach. Besides being the setting for many Snoop Dog and Sublime songs, the town also houses an Aquarium, one the largest ports on the west coast, and a homeless population that loves dogs and crack.
Aside from dodging the occasional bullet or syringe, I enjoy remembering my past, and postulating about the future. Having played the tuba for many marching bands and wind symphonies, I have also taught at youth organizations, volunteered at an animal shelter, and have hiked most of southern California. I get yelled at a lot at work, and my mother ignores me now that she won the lottery. I keep myself focused on the future through programming and music. I am fluent in C, C++, and Visual Basic, have used the FMOD, DirectX, and ODE APIs, and am currently working on some demos to demonstrate my chutzpah. Although I do not own my own tuba, I still buzz on the mouthpiece and vocalize intervals to keep the musicianship alive in my brainium.
